Equine Studies Level 2
[ UANC03a ]
This distance learning Equine Studies course is designed to enhance your knowledge of purchasing and looking after a horse and also improve your skill in riding. No doubt you will already have a love of horses, and we hope that by doing this course you will complement that love with detailed theoretical and practical knowledge.
Course Length - 12 Months
Award Received - Level 2 Certificate of Achievement by ABC
Course Code: UANC03
You will learn about how the horse has evolved, the physical features of the horse, the differences between breeds, what you should take into account when buying a horse, what gear you should have, and, just as importantly, issues to do with safety and the health of horses. You will also learn more about the skills of riding such as walking and halting.
However, we do need to stress that this course is for those who are riders themselves and not really for those are simply enthusiasts. Some of our assignment questions do presuppose that the student has some practical experience of horses and riding, and those who don’t have access to a horse and the whole experience of riding would not be able to complete the assignments.
